Introducing Dr Johnson – MD

DR. Ian Johnston has obtained his medical degree from the University of Manchester,
England and holds postgraduate qualifications in anesthesia and obstetrics. He
has practiced family medicine in England, Africa, and Canada. He has spent 17
years in rural practice in Drayton Valley Alberta and now divides his time
between family medicine with Medi-centres and cosmetic practice. He has been practicing
cosmetic medicine for the past 7 years and is experienced in the administration
of Cosmetic Botox®, Therapeutic Botox® for hyperhidrosis and filler treatment
for wrinkles. He has been actively working in Edmonton and has now expanded his
scope of practice to Fort McMurray.

Are Botox Cosmetic treatments safe?

Botox® has been licensed in Canada since
1990 as a safe and effective treatment for a variety of medical conditions.

How long does the treatment take?

The procedure is quick, simple and
there’s no downtime. Following a facial analysis, and a discussion on your
desired outcome, the procedure itself only takes about 10 – 15 minutes to
perform.

How soon will I see a difference
and how long will it last?

You can expect to see results within days
of your treatment. The effects last up to 6 months, after repetitive treatments
they last longer.
